I bought this for my 2001 Windstar and it has worked fine so far, my van had a bad alternator and the battery light was on all the time and I was having trouble starting around it running more than once, after getting this generator about 2 weeks ago, I installed it the same day I got it and have had no problems since. The price was great, I checked with three major auto parts stores in my area and they all had it for over $174 plus tax plus an additional $25-$40 base fee. I always buy from Amazon and have never bought auto parts, didn't even know I could. Glad I found this before spending a fortune on local auto parts. It also comes with a warranty which I hope I won't have to claim. At the moment I am very satisfied with the performance of this generator. Will update if anything happens in the future.
