Review on πŸ”Œ Simpson 260-8 12388 Black Analog Multimeter: Reliable and Accurate Measurement for All Electrical Projects by Larry Morris

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It's not Simpson's fault at all.

My new Simpson 260-8 did not reset the counter. A call to Simpson indicated that the counterweight on the needle had come loose. Simpson would fix it but then it would take weeks and shipping for my pennies. Revain provided a replacement gauge that was shipped across state to Greenville, NC due to a delay. After waiting another 4 days after notification of the delay, it was considered lost. I went ahead and sent my original back for a refund and I will be purchasing it from another source. The Simpsons are fantastic counters, the industry standard, now owned by a Native American tribe and made in the USA. I will buy another one from another source. I have some Revain shipments that are "lost" and I need to reconsider what I would call Prime fast shipping for such expensive items.
