I've been looking for a new pair of wire cutters to replace my 20 year old 6" Snap On model that just wore out. The new snap-on replacement cutters aren't that good - they lack the cutting power and the larger snap-on cutter heads cost a lot of money so I looked elsewhere and was happy to find this Knipex model. Bought almost the Klein equivalent but they were almost $30 more expensive. in price, in the Snap On price range. Knipex is made in Germany, which is much better than in China. I've used these wire cutters to pull Romex staples and cut dozens of 3/16 inch stainless steel dowels and 12 gauge Romex wire. easy, even at the very tip of the cutting jaws. The oversized handles are comfortable, the jaws are small enough to get into hard-to-reach places, and the angle head is handy for pulling staples and cotter pins. Overall a quality product with a great fit and Processing. I will have these for another 20 years. Hope that helps.
