Worked well until I dropped it about 6 inches when it was attached to a hose in the mud. It broke off cleanly along the coupling radius – only the ring with the internal thread got stuck on the external thread of the hose. Upon inspection of the crack, it was found that the plastic is thinner at the radius of the sleeve, likely due to the depth of the sleeve's internal threads. Luckily I mostly erased the piles I burned. I would not recommend this product for potentially hazardous work. In my case it was not possible to use it in a real situation.
