I'm really surprised how well this works. I had to tape it on and off the door several times because I applied it unevenly and then the door wouldn't open because the carpet was too high. So once it was finally in the perfect spot on the door and aligned with the mat, it did a great job of stopping the penetrating draft and keeping out (the bugs) that had gotten in before. It's been a few months since I bought it and it's still stuck to the door and doing its job.
