I have the original pads and rotors on all 4 wheels on a 2010 Mercedes GLK-350 through Akebono EURO Ultra Premium pads and Centrix rotors after a low range run of 60 miles replaced. You couldn't be happier with these pads. I didn't notice any loss of braking power. The pads are quiet. The pedal feel is less "soft" than before, which I prefer. The most important thing is that there is no more dust. Mercedes uses metal pads from the factory. They work great but the rims start to blacken after 3 days of normal driving. The rest of the world has switched to ceramic pads, why the Germans still use metal pads I don't know. The bumper edges themselves are not that easy to clean. Had I known beforehand what a dramatic dust reduction I would experience I would have replaced them before the original ones wore out. After 6 months of use my Centrix rotors are holding up well with these pads. I don't know if Mercedes uses mild steel in their rotors, or metal pads that are hard on the rotors, or a combination of both, but the old rotors were badly worn and worn. Akebono is an OEM supplier. I think they make pads for Nissan, maybe others, so they know what they're doing. These pads aren't cheap, but they're worth every penny. Akebono is a Japanese company, but these pads are made in the USA. I highly recommend them.
