I needed a surge protector that not only connects and protects my electronics, but also fits on a desk. The style of this surge protector is perfect for a desk or desk as opposed to a floor and has plugs on all sides that are perfect for my use of connecting everything. USBs are useful too, so I grabbed some cables for my phone charger and some USB powered lightbulbs. I understand that the 2 switches on the top each side control which sockets are on or off, but both need to be on for the USB sockets to work. I just want each outlet to be labeled as being controlled by which switch so I know which outlets I can turn off when not in use. It might be in the manual, but I haven't seen it. Great overall product for my use and those with a similar setup.
