I don't think I'm particularly picky when it comes to glasses. I carried them in a case in my purse or around my neck on a chain. When wearing it around my neck, I tried to always wear it with the lens out on my chest. All lenses have foggy spots, as if the coating is peeling off. I don't think these are typical scratches. Thing is, these are soft scratches, not the typical hard, sharp scratches. I had the impression that maybe the coating was coming off? I definitely expected them to last longer. I had drugstore readers that we used for over ten years.
