Review on Saris Solo Trunk Mounted Black by Scott Spoja

Far from ideal Best in Camping

Bought this stand for a trip. Installation and operation are very simple. But as soon as I got on the road, everything went wrong. The plastic straps that hold the bike do not fully close around the frame of the bike (Trek fx2), causing the bike to slide into the straps while riding. I solved this problem by adding a bungee cord on the way back, but I didn't have to. Although the cables were properly connected and routed to the car, 2 of the 4ft of the strut lost contact with the car for most of the ride, even after a few stops to adjust. Because of these issues, I had to stop every 1.5 hours to check and correct the situation, which added over an hour to my drive in either direction. In theory, this is a good shot. It's durable and easy to use, but I'll be returning it due to the constant anxiety and anxiety it caused during my long journey. Perhaps it is best suited for simple city breaks.

  • Dope 🔥
Cons
