was damaged I was hoping to get rid of a lot of cables. But since I keep my computers on and connected to the internet at all times, and a distributed computing application running in the background that's only occasionally updated over the internet, this device (and, I suspect, any wireless device) isn't all that handy . I don't know if this is due to radio interference or something else, but during the day the signal is lost and doesn't automatically recover. I think this device will suit four users no matter how long they stay active on their computers. It didn't get rid of many of the wires I was hoping to get rid of; but i didn't take into account that inactivity (updates only once per hour) can lead to loss of connection. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants what I wanted. But for everyday use where people boot up, log in and whatnot and then turn off their computers when they're done, this is probably fine for the job.
