Stay away! in USB network adapter

This wireless USB adapter is broken, 2 months old and disconnecting from the internet and I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it working again and pray it doesn't stays connected. I contacted Netgear about this issue and they told me that I am not authorized to support or guarantee that the company will work in this way as I bought it from an unauthorized seller. This will be the last Netgear product I will buy. If you're looking to spend your money on this device, make sure you buy…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Legacy model

There is a better choice.

Worked well for about two months, I think the honeymoon is over. The problems started with the Netgear icon turning red and pointing to "Search", but I still had WiFi. Tried to update driver, big error! I lost everything then. I've spent too many hours on the internet (an ethernet cable running through the house from my PC to my router) over the last 2 days to find a solution. I was shocked that so many people had problems with this adapter! I don't know what I did but connected it to the…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Poorly adjusted

Absolute rubbish, absolutely avoid.

The absolute worst WLAN adapter. Worked fine for a few days. Then the connections just began to disappear at random, which lasted for several days. And tonight it stopped connecting altogether. I reinstalled the drivers and software and nothing, plugged it into another USB port and started working right away. After 5 minutes it stopped working again, tried changing back to the first USB port and nothing, then plugged it into the third USB port and it started working again for 2 hours and then…

Pros
  • Easy installation

Works perfectly! The best USB network adapters

I originally gave this unit 2/5 stars because it stopped working after 15-25 minutes and never worked with the dock extender. I had problems with other USB devices and started to suspect my motherboard (ASUS). After building and testing another new computer on it, I had no problems, so this device isn't to blame; It was my computer's motherboard. Therefore it deserves 5 stars. It worked fine on another computer I built using an MSI board. So if you have an ASUS M5A99FX Revision 2 and are having

For the price of

. Good for the price - seems to work. I have two of these for desktop use where I didn't have wired connections but Wi-Fi was available. Installation was easy and it connected straight away, but during use the wifi connection kept going up and down meaning it was connected one moment and not the next - it was easy enough to just reconnect , but it was annoying as hell. I tried to figure out how to change it to another channel, but the software that came with it didn't offer such settings, and…

Pros
  • it's ok. Looking forward to
Cons
  • . Not bad

Everything is OK. on computer and accessories

was damaged I was hoping to get rid of a lot of cables. But since I keep my computers on and connected to the internet at all times, and a distributed computing application running in the background that's only occasionally updated over the internet, this device (and, I suspect, any wireless device) isn't all that handy . I don't know if this is due to radio interference or something else, but during the day the signal is lost and doesn't automatically recover. I think this device will suit…

  • regular price

Seriously, what the hell is that?

I received this in the mail after waiting for the usual delivery time and when I went to install the software it was incredibly slow but I waited and it was done. I was having trouble connecting to my WiFi router (which is about 10ft from me) and it wouldn't connect via WPS after 3 attempts, so I manually entered my password and it eventually connected. After I unplugged the ethernet cable I saw that there was no internet connection so I waited and after about 3 minutes it finally connected to…
