I have a Verizon Fios and wanted to upgrade my router to WiFi AX (WiFi 6). Verizon set-top boxes still use coaxial cable for some functions like menus and DVR control. So I bought it to connect ethernet from a quality pre-built router to this MoCA adapter. And once I get the Verizon router back, I won't have to pay rent anymore.
