I have a Verizon Fios and wanted to upgrade my router to WiFi AX (WiFi 6). Verizon set-top boxes still use coaxial cable for some functions like menus and DVR control. So I bought it to connect ethernet from a quality pre-built router to this MoCA adapter. And once I get the Verizon router back, I won't have to pay rent anymore.

Works perfectly! I have a Mesh Wi-Fi system and I wanted to use MOCA 2.5 as an Ethernet backhaul. I didn't have to do much - I connected everything and the blocks themselves recognized each other. The WiFi mesh network has detected the Ethernet connection. And now with the main network I get almost the same speed (ping +2-4 ms, which is imperceptible in real use).
