Review on SHIMANO Pairs Brake Spring Resin by Brant Skogen

I purchased this product in March knowing I would need to replace my brakes in the coming months and ended up fitting it in early August. I've been driving about 20 miles almost every other day since I installed the brake pads and last night - in the middle of traffic - my brakes failed. Luckily it was uphill and I was able to slow down thanks to gravity. When I checked my brakes, I noticed that all of the pad had come loose from the metal base and seemed to come loose while riding. I had never seen anything like this before and was very surprised. I'm not here to criticize the quality of the product but I want to share my experience in case anyone else wants to buy these pads! The first picture shows how the top or left brake pad (depending on how you align it) still has a metal base and pad on top. On the other hand, just a metal substrate and no cladding!
