These replacement stands for 08 Scion Tc worked great for the first month I've used them. You don't realize how worn the Original Equipment liftgate pillars are until you install new ones. They were very easy to install and have worked flawlessly so far. A few tips I found: 1. The luggage racks attach to the car with a bracket and two screws (10mm I think). I found it easier to completely remove the braces as you don't have much room to get in there.2. DO NOT over tighten the screws as the small screws they use are fairly easy to shear. (I DID IT and it was a hell of a job pulling the bolt out once it broke because you don't have room!) 3. Be sure to use a big 2x4 or something similar to keep the gates of life open so they don't hit you. One post will not hold the overhead goal while you replace the other.
