Review on Champion Sports DC100 Dual Timer by Tammy Sims

This is a great timer to keep track of how long you do what for me is playing the piano. It uses fairly large, easy-to-read numbers while simultaneously displaying your countdown timer and clock, so you can read the time of your activity while also knowing what time it is. Also, the device just looks like a small clock (albeit without a backlight) wherever you put it, which is nice. The button to start and stop the timer is nice, big and centrally located, and the button to reset the timer is smaller. and to the side. These two things make it easy to start and stop the timer at will and avoid accidentally resetting the timer. In addition, the device beeps every time you start or stop the timer or press the reset button, so you can be sure that you actually performed the intended function. There are two countdown timers in addition to the countdown timer and clock, but you cannot see the countdown timer and clock when they are displayed and vice versa. Another nice feature is that the bottom of the timer (where the main buttons are located) folds out perpendicular to the display and acts as a base, making it a pleasure to place on a flat surface, although it doesn't take much effort to get it closed tilt the back. This use also helps the device take up less space. The bottom can also be folded parallel to the rest of the device to form a flat piece. This would make it more comfortable to hold in hands during use. The unit is mostly black with some gray and some white so it doesn't stand out or conflict with my black piano. However, if your piano were white, you wouldn't have this benefit. This is a really good timer, perfect for keeping track of your time on the instrument. An additional countdown timer would have been handy for timing individual songs, but other than that I'm very happy with it. A good upgrade could have two additional countdown timers displayed together in addition to the two countdown timers and the main countdown timer and main clock. It's harder to recline when using the floor as a base, although these were minor issues for me.
