I have had a love/hate relationship with KVM switches for many years. When they work it's great, but previous versions often got stuck, out of sync etc. This one works great, at least for 4K 60Hz video (that's all we use it for). And the heavy metal body keeps it from slipping when you press the button on the front. UPDATE: We originally only used it to switch videos, but now I've connected a PC and Mac to it, shared a mouse, and both sent music to an external DAC and headphone amp. That works great too. (The only reason I don't share a keyboard is because keyboards have different keys for PC and Mac.)
