Very good fude grip. Tombow maintains a relatively stiff tip even after prolonged use and does not flex to the extent that Furatake Fude does. However, if you're looking for a great quality pen that flexes enough to create brush strokes while still holding the tip, then this is the pen you're looking for. I found it easy to control the diameter of the nib, which is much larger than the softer nib due to the thickness of the writing surface. The ink is more visible on the outside edges of the brushstroke, and if you stroke fast enough, lighter areas will be created in the middle of the stroke.
