Review on Upgrade Your Milwaukee M12 Tools With Waitley 2 Pack 12V 3.0Ah Replacement Batteries: Get More Power And Capacity For Your Work by Robert Lewis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Tested - 3.0AH equivalent to a OEM Milwaukee 2.5AH, 6AH equivalent to OEM 4.8AH

CAPACITY: Tested several OEM (1.5, 2, 4 AH) and Waitley (2 @3AH and 1 @6AH) on a M12 light that said should get 120 minutes run time per AH and the light will blink imminent empty. OEM batteries averaged 116 minutes fairly consistent. Waitley averaged 93 minutes fairly consistent. So did some math and a Waitley "3.0 AH" has the runtime of a Milwaukee 2.5 AH. The Waitley "6AH" is equivalent to a Milwaukee 4.8 AH. So not the rated capacities, but much better AH-per-$ than I thought. Satisfied for the (low) prices. FITMENT: I found the Waitley were "loose" and wouldn't click in as securely as OEM. It was the black tabs/wings. Take a heat gun, heat each tab on the battery for about 10 seconds a few inches away. Then pry it out very slightly for a couple seconds with a small screwdriver. It will cool in a slightly larger "ears" condition, and click in tools fine. Not a big deal to "fix" these in 20 seconds or so.

Pros
  • Great products
Cons
  • Could potentially void the warranty on your Milwaukee tools
