They ended up fitting perfectly on my 'nerd shelf' in my room. I bought two of these, made one shelf 2x4 and the other 1x4 and placed it in the other corner of the room. They are LIGHT, so if you plan on storing different types of items on them I would put heavier items on the bottom and lighter items on top. In my case, the bottom shelves are graphic novels, binders, and hardcover books, the top shelf contains paperbacks, the top shelf contains my games and various props, and the top shelf is currently empty, but probably there will be my amiibo, Funko, and others Characters. use in a variety of ways.
