not sure if the ingredients justify the cost. However, I don't wear the treads on my tires on any of my cars because I change them with every oil change and strictly control tire pressure to inflate them to maximum cold air pressure for better fuel economy. Sidewalls fail well before the tread wears out, and traditional tire care products containing oils and silicones that add shine to tires are said to accelerate sidewall failure. I started using this product mid-life on the last set of tires on my truck and was on expensive Michelin tires for 7 years before the sidewalls started cracking. It turns out that the tire manager I installed the new tires at uses the same product. I reapply every 3-4 months when the tires look faded. Note: Only use new tires after they have been exposed to the weather for at least 6 months, as this prevents the lubricants from coming off the new tires.
