I would say it's a mediocre product. Of all the low budget camera sliders, this is probably the best quality/quantity ratio. The arm is solid aluminum and it wasn't until I put pink buttocks on it that I could actually get it to flex, unlike other cheap sliders that only flex under their own weight. That it is somewhat heavy (or rather clumsy) is forgivable. I don't even know if it has a maximum carrying capacity. My camera weighs about 6-7 pounds, plus the tripod head, and I haven't noticed any side-slip issues, not just with a bare camera. What I don't like about this slider is that it requires a bit of fiddling before you can start using it. The bracket is supplied with pre-drilled holes spaced a suitable distance apart. First you need to raise them (I used a 9mm drill) and then find a 3/8" tap, which isn't the easiest in Europe (because we have a logical measuring system). , and use it properly, the tripod almost slips and you're done. I bought this slider because I didn't want to make my own, so the fact that these simple adjustments have not yet been made annoys me. I also find it a bit overpriced at $140 including shipping (although it only takes me 2 days to get to my doorstep which is a lot quicker than I expected.
