Review on ASUS VY279HE Adaptive Sync Augmentation Antibacterial 1920X1080P: Experience Enhanced Eye Care and Visual Quality with HDMI, Blue Light Filter, and HD LED by Demetrius Seymour

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best beat on the dollar.

I bought this monitor about 6 weeks ago when there were no reviews for Revain. After seeing all the reviews of other ASUS monitors I thought it was a safe buy. So far I have not regretted the purchase. Pros: - Huge. In fact, it's so big that it took my eyes a week to adjust to the screen being so big and so close to my face. In fact, I had to move the monitor a little further away from me to reduce the initial eye strain. But once my eyes got used to it, I had no problem with the size. I mainly use this monitor with Windows 8/8.1 and I can view two documents side by side on my desktop and the app is still pinned to one side of the screen. This monitor is really huge. Nice ad. This thing is great. I have no light bleed issues due to the IPS technology and I have no dead pixels. I also like the colours, the contrast and the saturation. The thin bezel is amazing and I don't think I would buy a display with a thick bezel again. - Automatic input detection. If I only use 1 input at a time, the monitor automatically switches to that input. If I have two or more inputs, I can easily switch between them with the buttons. Audio via DP, HDMI, or 3.5mm jack: The speakers aren't great, but they work. It's really nice to have a monitor that can play sound when I need it. Rotate, twist, tilt and rotate: they all work smoothly. Make sure the cables have enough slack when rotating the screen. FYI: You have to tilt the screen before you can rotate it 90 degrees or the corner of the display will hit the tabletop. the display is very bright. I set the brightness to 0 (yes, zero) and still sometimes find it too bright, especially at night.
