Remember the purpose of this flashlight - it can highlight urine stains and/or find scorpions. THE BAD flashlight puts out a lot of visible light - If you're clean, that might bother you. That's a problem? no Sometimes the light won't turn on or won't turn on at full brightness when you press the button. This seems to be an issue on ALL flashlights with this button design. Just touch it once or twice with your other hand and it will light up. GOOD This flashlight has a VERY long range. It illuminates some targets at a distance of 20-25 feet. Other "fresh” urine stains may also appear in lighted rooms. Just don't expect it to happen in bright sunlight. NOTE ***This is a VERY common problem*** with many aluminum lights with these types of knobs - over time they stop working due to oxidation in the knob assembly. The solution is to spray electrical contact cleaner on the button assembly (from the inside, not the side of the rubber button). Do this several times by pressing the button to delete them. You can purchase electrical contact cleaner at any auto parts store and most large department stores that have an auto parts department. The cheapest spray is suitable for this. Although I haven't had any issues with this flashlight.
