Can't comment on performance yet, but I know that for a price like this and from a company as reputable as K&N you would expect at least a properly made product. I know I'm an idiot if I don't send it back and get a replacement or buy it from someone else. One of the two mounting grommets was drilled on the wrong side of the airbox for insertion, and I had to find and drill a hole in the correct location. The hole in the side for the mass airflow port was small and not even round, as if someone had just carved it free hand and guessed it at the factory. I have to use a dremel to round the hole to fit. None of these experiences make me feel good about spending more than $350 on this product.
