After reading all the positive reviews, I purchased five adapters from Ceptics ("World Set with Pouch") for my 2018 trip. I didn't have a chance to test the adapters. My trip has been rescheduled for 2019. I have just returned from a trip to the UK (England and Scotland). I took 3 adapters to the UK from 5 sets (2 are 2 pin European adapters and a single 3 pin adaptor). This was the first and only time I had the opportunity to use adapters. Adapters don't work. I had no choice but to purchase another adapter while in the UK. All UK sockets are three pin. First problem: I tried the only Ceptics three-pin adapter. The Ceptics adapter fits UK sockets. BUT, it doesn't charge any of my electronic devices. I compared the Ceptics adapter to the one I had to buy in the UK. I know what's wrong with the Ceptics adapter. The third pin of the Ceptics adapter is plastic and the other two pins are metal. All three pins must be metal. Plastic does not conduct electricity. The Ceptics adapter is halfway not properly processed. Second problem: I tried 2 adapters for Europe with 2 pins, because the adapters say "Europe". I couldn't even plug 2 euro adapters into one of the outlets. The problem is that the distance between the two pins of the Ceptic adapters is shorter/narrower and doesn't fit the holes of the UK sockets. In other words, the adapters will not fit any UK socket. Examine each Ceptics adapter carefully. zoom in Judge for yourself. I don't understand how this product got positive reviews. Not buying is not possible. waste of money. I can't even contact the seller.
