Review on 🔧 Efficient Electronic Brake Control: Tekonsha 9030 Voyager in Sleek Black by James Trapkin

I bought this controller to tow a rented trailer on our family trip. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so based on the reviews I bought this unit and a vehicle specific adapter. I installed it on a 2012 Ford Explorer 4WD with a factory tow package. I used quality 3M velcro to secure it under the dash as I didn't want to drill holes in my new truck. Since my truck has a tow kit, all I had to do was find the connector and plug in the adapter. Total installation time was about 10 minutes. When I picked up the trailer from the rental the controller needed to be calibrated which took a few minutes to set up but was easy to do. If you only draw occasionally or want to save money, this is the perfect controller. Note: The Revain website says the adapter is not available for my vehicle. I suggest going to Tekonsha website to check if this is correct or not.
