I love the idea behind this product (no need to manually switch the plug between charger and dryer) but the quality of the product just makes it unusable. When the first block arrives it's covered in oil and seems to have a loose component inside so I'm sending it back and ordering a replacement. When the replacement arrives it's clean but you can still hear some components dangling inside the unit and I think it might be their design! Install the device and try it, after two days of use, the device keeps turning off the electric car charge or the dryer. I'm trying to debug this by just hooking up a dryer or an electric car, but the random power outage still occurs. The device will beep and turn off the device for 30 seconds to 2 minutes, then turn it on for a few minutes and then turn it off again. This situation renders the unit unusable (I can't dry my clothes) and I still have to flip a manual switch for my dryer to work properly. At this point I lose faith in him and decide to return the product.
