The right product for me, there were no problems.

First of all, this lens is WIDE. It is excellent for shooting interiors, exteriors, architecture - here the shortcomings indicated by the previous author - dysturbia (optical distortions - "barrel" and "cushion") - become an ESSENTIAL creative advantage. I shot Germany in the summer (more than 1000 photos -only with this "glass", although I used others) -still a source of Pride and Boasting, "breaks" Gothic architecture in such a way that it takes your breath away !
An outstanding "field" of vision - in the smallest areas it makes a "coverage" - it's hard to believe! Of course with dysturbia .
Not a "variable" aperture f / 4 - I consider it a virtue. A STANDARD lens can be conditional, but with much greater success than a "fix" or "tel".

Pros

impeccable Japanese quality (assembly, materials, optics), excellent sharpness and contrast, fantastic color reproduction, absolutely ergonomic with any Nikon "carcass" (especially due to the weight balance). Yes, and HE is handsome .!, which is not the last thing for connoisseurs of aesthetics.

Cons

the impossibility of using the built-in flash - due to the peculiarity of the "glass" design (this drawback is conditional - ADULTS photographers do not use the built-in "flash" in PRINCIPLE). For the same reason (the large thread diameter for filters is 77mm), you will have to buy a set of filters only to this glass, and it costs money.

With its pros. contrast, not the largest HA, relatively fast AF Cons below: soapy at the wide end with an open aperture, there is distortion from the "barrel" to the "cushion"
