Torx screws included with tailgate lifter were stripped off during installation. Even with the tailgate in the supported position, there was no stress on the bolt itself. Otherwise, the tailgate assistant works as described. The original screws turned out to be more valuable. Unfortunately, the original bolts cannot be used as they are pre-assembled on the ends of the assistants.
