I'm giving this brush 1 star because Bissell is either intentionally biased or just doesn't have common sense. This brush does not fit my Bissell PowerForce Compact even though its part number is listed on the Bissell website. I started to figure out why and it turns out that Bissell used to have another PowerForce Compact with a slightly different design. They then discontinued that model and released another vacuum cleaner with a very similar but slightly different design that included a roller brush about 1 inch shorter than the original. So the original PowerForce Compact brush won't work in a second PowerForce Compact, but the company makes it very hard to figure out until you get the wrong part. Why change the design, use two visually identical brushes but make one a little shorter, and then stick them in a vacuum with the exact same name? Now I paid $15 for a brush that doesn't fit in my vacuum. A roller brush for a new vacuum costs $5 more even though it's smaller. I'm afraid to order it because what if there's a magical third PowerForce Compact with a slightly different roller brush size? If you stop making a vacuum cleaner and replace its main parts, Bissell, you need to give it a different name so your customers aren't left with that annoyance and frustration. It's annoying to find completely different parts for two completely different products sold under the same name. EDIT: Here's an edit to help customers in a way Bissell doesn't: This roller brush is for an older discontinued PowerForce Compact 23T7V, which is NOT the same PowerForce Compact she sells, now called the PowerForce Compact 2112. If you bought your PowerForce Compact relatively recently, you probably received the 2112 and not the 23T7V. If you have a PowerForce Compact 2112 and not a 23T7V you will need Roller Brush P/N 1606837 NOT Roller Brush P/N 2037627. Bissell need to make this clear and concise as they have chosen to use the same name for two different vacuums with different parts.
