Review on Revitalize Your Cleaning Routine with RED HEART Scrubby Yarn in Waves by Barbara Simmons

Making the best bath washcloths

I make the puffy (kind of spherical) washcloths from Red Heart's set video and everyone loves them! They produce tons of lather and gently exfoliate. I put it near the ventilation so it dries quickly. Crochet Tip: To close the scrub easily, weave the loose end of the yarn between the stitches, being careful not to thread it through the yarn. Also, only braid it through 2-3 stitches at a time and then pull it up a bit (to close the hole a bit) before braiding more. I also made flat scrapers to remove wallpaper glue. They're great for removing paste without damaging the walls (our drywall was never primed so it was pretty brittle after stripping the wallpaper). Nylon (mesh) scrapers are more aggressive, so I prefer them for the kitchen. Nylon is too scratchy for leather, but this yarn is beautiful!
