    Not rough, just sticky.

    I saw a great pattern for making washcloths and decided to use this yarn for a washcloth. I was totally disappointed because it was too soft to clean anything. It's really more for looks and not really a replica of a really rough scrub that can really clean pretty much anything. However, if you like a REALLY soft scrub, I think it will do the job.

    Be careful with your yarn and it will take care of you!

    My first yarn test didn't go quite as planned - the nature of the yarn doesn't allow me to make sure I don't skip stitches and I did skip a few. As a result, he quickly dispersed. 3-4 uses and it fell apart. But now I understand better how to work with this yarn and I plan to crochet more for myself and give away.

    Unsuitable due to unpleasant smell of yarn

    Although this yarn looks beautiful, it smells disgusting. The yarn smell settled on the skin and even after washing hands the smell persisted. It's a chemical smell; pretty disgusting. I can't use it and Revain policy says it's non-refundable so I have to throw it away. I'm sorry to throw my money away, but I can't use this, and I can't make dirty rags as gifts with this yarn as planned.

    The yarn is good, the smell is terrible.

    Wanted to use this yarn but it smells awful and I can't be around so can't crochet with it. I have previously ordered yarn from Revain, it also smelled really bad, it was 3 skeins of Caron Cakes, I tried washing it in Febreeze laundry soap but the smell is still there. If anyone has a way to get rid of this horrible smell please let me know. I also have other yarn that stinks, I just don't want to throw it away. And I don't feel comfortable taking it to a thrift store to sell with such a bad…

    Making the best bath washcloths

    I make the puffy (kind of spherical) washcloths from Red Heart's set video and everyone loves them! They produce tons of lather and gently exfoliate. I put it near the ventilation so it dries quickly. Crochet Tip: To close the scrub easily, weave the loose end of the yarn between the stitches, being careful not to thread it through the yarn.
