Review on Revitalize Your Cleaning Routine with RED HEART Scrubby Yarn in Waves by Jennifer Roberts

Wanted to use this yarn but it smells awful and I can't be around so can't crochet with it. I have previously ordered yarn from Revain, it also smelled really bad, it was 3 skeins of Caron Cakes, I tried washing it in Febreeze laundry soap but the smell is still there. If anyone has a way to get rid of this horrible smell please let me know. I also have other yarn that stinks, I just don't want to throw it away. And I don't feel comfortable taking it to a thrift store to sell with such a bad smell.
