Durability good for kitchen and dining room
Bought 2 of these for Christmas 2016. One for my brother in law and one for me. My machine was little used. I used it to sharpen my wife's kitchen knives (Chicago Cutlery) and Kershaw pocket knife. I have sharpened my wife's knives once and my pocket knife three times. Today the drive pulley came loose from the motor and got stuck between the motor drive and belt guide while trying to sharpen my wife's knife ahead of the upcoming Thanksgiving. A total of 12 kitchen knives sharpened 1 time and a pocket knife 3 times. I do not recommend anyone to buy this device. By the way, I'm still waiting for an answer from the manufacturer regarding parts or repairs.
