It does the job, but it wasn't easy to install. The backplate flexes a lot, so I added a few extra anchors (I built them into a brick and the anchors that came with them weren't trustworthy either). It also comes with a set of screws to attach the brackets to the back of the TV - none of which worked. I also made sure the mount was perfectly level before placing the TV on it, only to allow the TV to sag a bit (the frame is also a little givey). Keep in mind that this mount is rated for 120lbs and my TV only weighs 45lbs. So I had to play around with it a bit to figure it out. So almost every step was tedious and I had to make about 3 trips to home storage to get extra supplies to get this thing up and running. If it's worth spending just $30 versus $150 then do it, but next time I'll look for something better. You get what you pay for.
