Great versatile binoculars!

I was very interested in that because I like bird watching and often go hiking with the boy scouts. These are solid, solid binoculars. They are comfortable to the touch, have a good weight and quality finish, fit and finish. A very nice carry bag with Velcro is included. Inside there is a pocket for two batteries and a cleaning cloth. .The case has a shoulder strap and a strap for binoculars. The lens caps are built right into the device and can be removed by pulling the cap handles over the logo screw (nice touch). We unscrew the logo, and there is a thread for a tripod adapter. The batteries are additionally protected by a screw cap. The kit also includes a protective cap for the eyepiece. The eyepiece features retractable eyecups that control ambient light very effectively. The eye relief adjustment had the right tension, as did the adjustment rings on the lenses and the diopter compensation. While I personally wouldn't use a compass or grid to measure, those features are included. The compass backlight worked very well both in the dark and at dusk. The instructions are very easy to follow. and give tips on using a compass to measure the distance and size of an object. What fascinated me the most was that the binoculars float despite their weight. I was skeptical and tested it in the bath. This is a great feature for those hunting shorebirds or waterfowl, or if you just need binoculars on a boat. I am very satisfied with this device. and I enjoy it very much. duane
