Although the juicer is heavy, the center of gravity is too high, the juicer leans forward too easily. Also, the handle is in the middle and long, requiring you to get out of the way to lower the handle all the way down. On a positive note, the juice cup is big enough to put a tall mug underneath, but you have to be careful of the juicer tipping or it will spill. My old juicer also had a spring mechanism to keep the lever upright. When I first installed this, the lever fell off and the cup landed on my fingers, causing a cut. Another time he fell and landed on my shoulder with all his weight. A spring load keeps it in place when moved or cleaned. PS the juice was good. ;-)
