Made from high quality basswood. Be careful when removing and assembling parts as they may break. In general it is very attractive. It was fun to build but difficult. AND IT WORKS! All gears work and it moves. Be careful when assembling the rear propeller, which is near the rudder. You may need another pair of hands for some details.
