This was a massive improvement over the broken air dams in our 2003 Yukon Denali. No more rattling doors on rough roads! The biggest problem with installing stock shocks on air actuated Denalis is that the factory springs are softer than regular Yukons. This adjustment ensures that the dampers are stiff enough to avoid changing springs. My guess is that on a Yukon or Suburban that doesn't come with factory air springs, the ride might be a bit stiffer when combined with stiffer factory springs on the axle.
