Unlike most fillers, especially the stainless steel 'nozzle' type, this pourer/corker will not leak, drip or fall apart with daily use. Works equally well with 750ml and 1.5L wine bottles. It forms a fairly tight seal, so care must be taken when removing it from an empty bottle. It's well designed, attractive, works like a champ, and is cheap. However, if you just want the sealability, leverage bottle caps are more durable and require more use/abuse. This little device is great for pouring/corking, which is what it was designed for. And while the rubber seal can degrade over time (especially for the clumsy ones who force them out of an empty bottle), the device comes with a huge saving: They're only marginally more expensive than a Ripple bottle - so cursers can feel free to buy one afford another.
