Master Lock Twin Wire Elastic Cords are the best bungee cords I've ever seen. The wire is covered in rubber to prevent scratching your belongings, the cable itself looks well made, is durable and works well. I've used a variety of Master Lock twin wire bungee cords to tie down my patio furniture during recent Hurricane Sandy and they worked great. Now I will use them in the winter so I can report on them in the spring. I've bought almost every size available so I always have the right cable when I need it. A. These cords are priced very very cheaply. Big stores only sell cheap cables at this price. In case you are wondering, the color code of the series is as follows and refers to the length of the slack cord: 18" = blue, 24" = red, 32" = green, 40" = yellow and 48" = orange (thanks bike ! Guy) Length about 50% longer when stretched than when sagging.
