I was very hesitant to buy a "new" cast iron. They are strong, fat and beautiful! I officially love her. (I had to use it a couple of times before deciding to write a review.) The set was packaged very well, actually it was a hassle to unpack as I was very careful in case I didn't like it and had to send it back you. I'm so excited to replace expensive "non-stick" things with this lifetime product! The biggest win and deciding factor was that the eggs didn't stick after turning (compared to plain eggs) and I didn't have to leave them in oil! (Disgusting!) Definitely satisfied, Definitely recommended. The only downside is if you want a square lid you have to buy it separately. I cooked the chicken breasts in a square pan for the perfect "grilled" flavor. The same goes for steaks! My steak was perfect. A+++
