Gentle pressure is best for dogs
This collar applies gentle pressure to your dog's neck as he pulls. There is no gagging or coughing like with a traditional choke collar. It has plastic rivets. The teeth are thick and wide, with no points, just pressure. They will not pierce your dog in any way. Released very quickly and naturally. There is no tug of war at all. Gentle pressure around the neck and quick release. My dog didn't like harnesses and pulled too. I have a bulldog so I have a big breathing problem. There is no problem and we enjoy daily 3 mile walks together. I highly recommend this collar. I'm a very gentle person who doesn't want to hurt any animal.
