Extremely sharp and cuts well; non-slip handle; good price!
This was a replacement for the well-loved OXO bread knife, the blade of which eventually separated from the rubber handle. This version is longer, with a sharper tip and firmer handle, and I wasn't sure what I thought at first, but it's become popular for crusty bread and summer tomatoes. It's very sharp and cuts well. I'm sure it will work well with melons and pineapples like our old knife. While I miss the softer feel of our old grip, this one has a more ergonomic grip without slipping. What about the price? Can't win!
