Review on 🔪 Messermeister Stainless Steel Culinary Scissors (6.5 Inch) - Green: Cutting-edge Kitchen Tool by Andre Young

Revainrating 4 out of 5

4 1/2 stars! in Cutlery & Knife Accessories

They definitely fit my hand better than the 8.5" model as I'm left-handed, but the shorter blade and non-curved blade area make them less valuable or useful like 8.5 inches overall. Less a complaint than an observation😆 I'm glad I bought both types and I hope they also release a 9.5-10 inch model to complete my scissor collection! Both cut/slide across the notepad sheet. like butter, which my upholstery scissors do. A sliding cut is one where you open the scissors about 2-3 inches and, without moving the blades, slide them through what your cut taught while holding them. With most fabrics this is not a problem, but with thin paper you will need to use your fingers to prevent the paper from moving/slipping. When it's "right" sharp, it cuts like butter. Both of my have sweet spots that handle it well. Since I mainly use them for poultry or meat, this isn't really necessary, just an indicator of the spiciness. Compared to a new Wiss upholstery scissors, which gets a 10 point rating in my book, it weighs 8.5-9 points. The only thing that worries me and why I'm not giving a 5 star rating is that the handles are plastic, time will tell if they become problematic and update dates follow either way 😊 and how useful the non-cutting ones are or features can prevent them from getting a 5-star upgrade😑. Stay tuned for future updates😆
