I've been buying Marmot clothes for my son since he was a little boy. Now I buy Marmot clothes for my son, grandson, and the quality of Marmot products has not deteriorated over the years. The quality of Marmot products is always high and lasts almost forever. The improvement of the Marmot clothing line is in the design. The boys PreCip raincoat is just one example of the ever evolving design of a basic raincoat I bought my son years ago. Waterproof, taped seams, elasticated wrists are just some of the features of this jacket. This jacket is not intended to keep anyone warm and is strictly a wind and waterproof jacket that can be worn over other clothing. It is slightly larger than a regular jacket but is intended to be worn with other clothing underneath. The quality I also love about Marmot is that you really can't wear their clothes as they are made to last and I am sure that when my grandson outgrows these clothes he will pass it on to his little brother becomes.
