Review on Poison Arctic Fox Hair Dye: Vibrant Semi-Permanent Color - 4oz by Madhu Plexico

I'm an absolute fan of Arctic Fox. The colors are so vibrant, the dye nourishes and is gentle on the hair and won't stain the skin or scalp if something gets misplaced. Now I get so many compliments on my hair! This is not an experience I am used to as a man. I have used Electric Paradise, Purple Rain and Poison and have been very happy with all of them. Two notes: 1. Colors don't always blend like you expect, so don't assume you can mix or layer colors. Experiment first if you plan to do this.2. It's a semi-permanent color and I find that even on very well bleached hair it washes out fairly quickly. I notice that some colors fade even after a single wash or a couple of no-shampoo conditioners, and the colors definitely turn to faded pastels after four or five shampoos. It's not necessarily a problem with the product, I think it's just how the dyeing process works. If you want your color to last, exercise your hair to keep it clean, use dry shampoo when needed, and try washing your hair without shampoo if you need to wash your hair. (Of course, the color isn't expensive and doesn't have a strong effect on my hair, so I just work on it regularly.) Also, I wish there were more photos of hair in the listings here that have actually been colored with the product in question. Digitally colored preview images just don't give a good idea of what the final shade will be.
