Poison Arctic Fox Hair Dye: Vibrant Semi-Permanent Color - 4oz Review

I've heard so many good things about this vegan color that I was annoyed when it didn't work for me. I followed the directions, let it sit for about 30 minutes, wrapped it in plastic and heated it with a hair dryer. The red didn't look like the bright red I was expecting, especially on the bleached hair. Also, it irritates my scalp after 15 minutes and it was a little annoying to keep it on all the time. I love arctic fox and use Purple Rain regularly. I have tried several other colors but this one is purple! I decided to try Poison and was a bit disappointed. It came out a nice red (I have dark brown hair with a few bleached strands and a few gray strands) but I've noticed that it doesn't cut through grays as well as purple rain (I leave it wrapped in plastic after 2 hours). . My hair smelled like cherries for a week. It will last a very long time if you (ALWAYS) wash it with very cold water instead of every day. It gets dirty when wet, but otherwise it's ok. Probably the best hair product I've ever used. Mine lasted a month and now it's a maroon tint. I would 100% recommend.

I'm an absolute fan of Arctic Fox. The colors are so vibrant, the dye nourishes and is gentle on the hair and won't stain the skin or scalp if something gets misplaced. I colored my hair and blow dried it for 20-25 minutes (it says 15 on the bottle if I remember correctly, but I recommend a little longer if your hair doesn't take the color well).
