Review on 🚗 iCarsoft i930 Pro Landrover/Jaguar Multi System Diagnostic OBD2 Scanner for ABS SRS by Robert Long

I bought this because it was cheaper than a trip to a Land Rover specialist and it was what came up when you were looking for a Land Rover branded scanner. However, after my purchase I have found several others that do more for less. At least for my 2001 Discovery it works as advertised. It can read and clear codes from SRS and ABS computers. I haven't tried key programming or anything more advanced and not sure if this is supported. The UI is silly and it can be difficult to figure out which button to press to get to the next screen/function. Also, the use of screen space is terrible. Each code is displayed on its own screen, but only as one line per screen, leaving the rest of the screen blank. You will have to scroll left and right to see other codes if there is more than one and some diagnostic data is in a completely different submenu. So again usable, but far from "good". The biggest problem I had, again due to my poor research before buying, this device can scan codes for many vehicles. I say "maybe" but it won't. That's because the company sells software for each car for a small fee (remember $75?). For software. Like the 90s. There are others on the net around the same price that fit a wider range of vehicles and if I had to do it again I would do exactly that. So for your $100 you get a device that does 1/10 of what it can, and does it pretty poorly. However, he did what I needed. we are here.
